Terms of Service

Last updated: not yet published

Draft, not legally reviewed. This page describes the shape of the terms Proxipal needs, not final legal text. Before this app is used by the wider public or handles real payments, this needs review by a qualified lawyer familiar with Nigerian law (including the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation, NDPR).

1. What Proxipal is

Proxipal is a platform connecting people to local services, tasks, marketplace listings, and each other. Proxipal facilitates connections between users and does not itself provide the underlying services, goods, or tasks listed.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You're responsible for activity under your account. You must be able to legally enter agreements to use paid features.

3. Payments and wallet

Wallet top-ups, service bookings, marketplace purchases, and gig collateral involve real money once fully enabled. Fees, refund conditions, and dispute handling will be defined here before payments go live.

4. Conduct

No fraud, harassment, spam, or illegal listings. Proxipal may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. Third-party apps and sites

The Apps & Sites directory lists software made by other people. We review a listing before it appears and remove listings that are reported and found to be harmful, but we do not control those apps or sites, do not audit their code, and cannot vouch for what they do with your data or money. You visit them at your own risk. Reviews are written by users and reflect their experience, not our judgement.

6. Liability

Proxipal is not a party to transactions between users and disclaims liability for disputes between them, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
